This scholarship gives potential students who are committed to completing their program of study at the Academy the opportunity to have their portfolios juried by professionals for the chance of being awarded up to a $500 tuition scholarship. Portfolios will be juried in the categories of graphic design, advertising, fashion design, interior design, web design, and computer networking. Portfolios are evaluated on content, organization and composition.
First place in each category will receive a $500 tuition scholarship, second place a $250 tuition scholarship and third place a $150 tuition scholarship. Scholarship amounts are awarded in full during the student’s first quarter of attendance at the Academy.
Deadlines: Application deadlines are December 15, March 15, June 15, or September 15 of each year.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application along with their portfolio to the Admissions Department.
- Applicants who are seniors in high school must enter the Academy in the term immediately upon graduation. Applicants who are high school graduates or who have obtained their GED must enter the Academy in the term immediately following submission of their portfolio.

The International Academy of Design & Technology offers scholarships annually to both incoming (new students) and continuing students, in order to encourage the pursuit of higher education. Applicants must submit a separate application for all scholarships for which they wish to apply.
Scholarship applications for all Incoming Students are available from the Financial Aid Office or the Admissions Department.
Any award under $1,000 will be awarded in the term for which the award is granted. Awards of $1,000 to $4,999 will be applied in equal quarterly installments though an academic year (three quarters) of attendance. Awards of $5,000 or more will be applied in equal quarterly installments throughout the program length. Withdrawal from the Academy nullifies any unused scholarship funds.
Students may apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be eligible to receive one scholarship per scholarship cycle, the scholarship with the greatest cash value.
