The International Academy of Design and Technology is now offering Continuing Education courses in Image Consulting. An image consultant is a professional who provides services to an individual through coaching of physical appearance, behavior and communication skills.
Certification is available through the Association of Image Consultants International, (AICI) www.aici.org. AICI is the leading and largest professional association of personal and corporate image consultants worldwide. A non-profit organization, AICI is dedicated to advancing the level of professionalism and enhancing the recognition of image consultants.
IADT provides the classes for certification and AICI issues the certification. AICI’s certification is earned through Continuing Education Units or CEU’s. CEU’s are for professionals who want to continue their education in their field to sharpen and enhance their existing skills.
Course offerings allow specialization in various fields such as fashion show coordinator, personal shopper, etiquette consultant, branding specialist, color specialist, closet organization, wardrobe consultant and more.
